The funds raised from Glassquerade enable Lookingglass to develop innovative new theatrical work and share its techniques with under-served youth in the Chicago area through Education and Community Programs. The 2017 Lookingglass gglassquerade will be co-hosted by Life Sucks and Ocean’s Eleven star Eddie Jemison and Lookingglass Producing Director and Ensemble Member, Phil Smith. The Lookingglass Civic Engagement Awards will be presented to esteemed Chicago-based artist, Theaster Gates and prominent Chicago philanthropists, Joan and Paul Rubschlager.

Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s 24th Annual Bear Tie Ball, XANADU! Join Co-Chairs Tracey Kreilingand Katy Tetta and Mistress of Ceremonies Sylvia Perez, as they raise funds to support their mission of eliminating pediatric cancer and providing hope and support to those who are touched by it. The evening will feature cocktails, dinner, auctions, and dancing to the Ken Arlen Evolution Orchestra.

The Chicago Polar Plunge benefits the 6800 athletes of Special Olympics Chicago, and has attracted the participation of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Jimmy Fallon, Vince Vaughn, Lady Gaga, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Chicago Med, and The TODAY Show personalities. Plungers are welcome to dip in a toe or go waist deep.

Escape the winter blues and join Imerman Angels, the world’s leading one-on-one cancer support community, at the fifth annual Blue & White Party. The night will feature an evening full of Casino Games, appitizers, open bar, raffle prizes and first-hand testimonials from cancer survivors.

Participate in charitable casino games, Texas Hold ‘Em Poker tournament, premium cocktails, Gibsons signature dinner and desserts, and over $20,000 in prizes and auction items! Proceeds will support the world-class programs and services of The Chicago Lighthouse North in Glenview for people of all ages in the north and northwest suburbs who are blind, visually impaired, disabled and Veterans.
