This is Caitlin Lisa (PAWS Chicago’s Special Event Manager, animal lover, and spring enthusiast) here with an exclusive invite for you and your four-legged friends! After surviving one of the biggest storms in Chicago history, I imagine that you—along with the rest of Chicago—are counting down the days until winter ends. As we all start to plan for warmer weather, what better way to ring in the first day of spring than by saving the lives of homeless pets with your canine companion at PAWS Chicago’s Animal Magnetism gala?!

Our Ninth Annual Animal Magnetism gala, presented by The Professionals Moving Specialists, will take place on Friday, March 20, at Venue One in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Join the PAWS Chicago Professional Board as they host 500 guests for an evening of dining, dancing, live and silent auctions, and plenty of pet-friendly activities! Drop your pup off for a pawdicure or massage at the Paradise 4 Paws dog spa, while you sip on a ‘muttini’ from the open bar and browse fabulous auction items. Visit the photo booth, paint with your pet, and enjoy a variety of cuisines from food stations before hitting the dance floor to music by DJ Lani Love, voted Best DJ in Chicago Magazine’s ‘Best of 2014’. Top it off with desserts from Frost Gelato, more cupcakes, and Insomnia Cookies, while your pup enjoys a pupcake, courtesy of Swirlz Cupcakes, or some doggy ice cream from the Professionals Moving Specialists.

By joining us at Animal Magnetism, you are helping to fund the important PAWS Chicago programs needed to continue to save lives. As a No Kill Shelter, PAWS Chicago is committed to ensuring that each pet rescued receives the individualized, nurturing care and enrichment they need for a happy, healthy life. In 2014, we found new families for 5,952 homeless pets and hope to save even more this year with your support. PAWS Chicago does not receive any financial support from federal, state or local government agencies and is 100 percent reliant upon the generosity of the community.
